INTERACTIVE AUDIO-VISUAL INSTALLATION • SPECTROZATOR

Description: Spectrozator is an interactive audiovisual installation created by interdisciplinary artist Bernarda Nibera Conič at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design under the mentorship of Prof. Sašo Sedlaček and Prof. Dr. Petra Černe Oven. This innovative project explores the relationship between visual and auditory perception, drawing parallels between sound and image. Spectrozator’s surface varies according to the spectral color unit determined by a specific sound, creating a dynamic and engaging experience for viewers.

Features:

Concept and Inspiration Spectrozator seeks to explore the possibilities of translating a musical tone into a color hue, blurring the lines between auditory and visual stimuli. By creating an installation that is dependent on both sound and light, Spectrozator challenges viewers to reconsider their perception of art and technology.

Technical Details: The installation’s surface is determined by a specific sound, with the synthesizer controlling the installation. The synthesizer acts as a tool to trigger sound and light simultaneously, creating a harmonious blend of sensory experiences.
